How it works

  1. Step 1

    Scan

    One tap in the cab. The scanner finds the document, crops out the dashboard and the dock behind it, and straightens the page into a clean, readable image.

  2. Step 2

    Extract

    LoadLatch reads the fields the office needs: BOL number, carrier, shipper and consignee, PO and delivery numbers, ship and delivery dates, piece count and weights.

  3. Step 3

    Review

    Anything read with low confidence is flagged for the office to confirm. Drivers do no data entry at all — they scan, and they are done.

  4. Step 4

    Invoice

    Approved loads are billed from the same screen — into your own QuickBooks Online company if you connect one, with the signed paperwork already attached.

Invoicing and QuickBooks

Connect your QuickBooks Online company and an approved load becomes an invoice there, raised against the customer you matched the consignee to, with the signed bill of lading and the rate confirmation attached. You can email it to the customer without leaving the screen.

Carriers that bill under more than one business connect each set of books separately and choose which business a load bills from. Each customer is set to be invoiced a load at a time, or gathered onto one invoice when the period closes. Connecting is optional, an administrator turns it on, and you can disconnect at any time — invoices already raised stay in your books, because they are your records.

Who it's for

Carriers, owner-operators, and logistics teams who would rather have their BOLs digitized at the point of delivery than at the end of the week. Every scan is filed against the load, searchable by BOL number, and goes out on the invoice as a PDF — or downloads as one, if you bill somewhere else.

LoadLatch is a business tool provided to drivers by their carrier or employer. Each company sees only its own loads.
