Delete your LoadLatch account

You can delete your LoadLatch account at any time, and you don't need anyone's permission to do it. There are two ways: from inside the app, or by writing to us if you can't get into the app.

Deleting is permanent and cannot be undone.

Delete it yourself in the app

This is the fastest way and takes effect immediately.

  1. Open LoadLatch and sign in.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of your list of scans and tap Delete my account.
  3. Read what will happen, type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete my account.

Ask us to delete it

If you've lost the phone, can't sign in, or your company has already removed you, email us and we'll do it for you.

Email: support@loadlatch.app

Send it from the email address you sign in with, and say that you want your account deleted. If you write from a different address we'll have to check with your company before we can act on it, which is slower — so use your sign-in address if you still can.

We reply within 1–2 business days and delete the account within 30 days of confirming the request.

What gets deleted

  • Your name and email address.
  • Your sign-in. You won't be able to log back in, and the same email can't be reused to recover the account.
  • Notification registrations for your phone.

What stays, and why

Bills of lading you already scanned stay with your company.A BOL is your employer's shipping and invoicing record — it's the document freight gets billed and claims get settled on, and the company is required to keep it. LoadLatch is the tool your employer uses to collect those records; the records themselves are theirs, not ours.

Once your account is deleted, those scans are no longer connected to you. Your name is replaced with "Deleted user" everywhere it appeared.

We also keep a dated note that an account was deleted, so your company has a record of the change. It doesn't contain your name.

A few other things worth knowing

  • Your company's office is notified that you deleted your account.
  • If you need access again later, your company can invite you as a new member. It will be a new account, not the old one restored.
  • Deleting your LoadLatch account doesn't affect your employment or anything your company holds outside LoadLatch.
